New Chapter in Life
September 29th 2026
First blog post ever, I do not feel like I am good at these so if you stick around, thank you.
We are finally in the Fall and Libra season, feeling the cool crispness in the morning air followed by a {hopefully} decent afternoon. I can focus on the fall veggies in the garden, prep for the winter season, and plot out fruit trees for next year.
This year has been a testing year for sure, not just for me and my own but for many out there. Under the fascist’s rule, ordinary people are struggling every day in some form or another and the government, who claims they are for people, are doing everything they can to go scorched earth to pull a savior complex. We are done with their bullshit and there are many who are standing up to the orange shitstain’s and cronies and it often feels like it's hopeless, but they are not the brightest villains and we know how to call them out and bring the receipts.
Focusing on the new chapter in my life, I am unlearning certain survival mode aspects and learning to breathe and let go where I want to hold tight to. The Hanged Man comes to mind, where a sacrifice must be made to gain new information, revelation or enlightenment of sorts. After 12 years of being in retail full time, going to 2 days a week is a tough transition even though it does open the door to other opportunities of which I have felt blessed for this year.
I have been able to share my creations as I discovered that art has always been a passion of mine but I felt I wasn’t allowed to express myself because it was deemed unbecoming or weird, or I needed to focus on ONE niche area rather than hop around, etc.
I have taught classes to help me speak in front of groups of people and felt I was able to bring something to others as well as boost my self esteem/confidence where I've been made to feel small for so long.
I have such a lovely pagan community who helps me grow and I hope I help them. Knowing deep down that this is where I belong, opening up myself to learning and communicating with the Unseen has been an incredible journey that I want to help others with. To see that there is more to life and this world than this capitalistic bullshit that the greedy constructed.
As always, this brain of mine goes non stop (even during sleep), so I have much planning to do. Now that we are settling in our new place, I can restart my blood donation routine and put energy towards being less of a background activist. Part of the unlearning is seeing that caring a lot and wearing my heart openly wasn’t bad, I just also have to make sure I am protected.
With October around the corner, it is time to decorate!! I was told by neighbors that we do not get kids trick or treating, so we don't have to go too crazy our first year. This is us though, so we shall see how much of our 8 big totes we get out. I haven’t decided on the costume and may redo one of my old ones. My BloodRayne sword replicas are unpacked so thats always an option. Speaking of Rayne, I’ve finally jumped into the Critical Role train. It’s a lot of hours to listen/watch these campaigns so I didn't have the time or energy to put in, but now I do and I love Laura Bailey so much. Her gremlin energy is very similar to mine and Jester is just the freed spirit of our wild side that we were told was “ too much” and I love seeing it expressed this way. I honestly love the whole cast and crew. Everyone is so beautiful in their own way, funny, clever, and great storytellers.
Well, my stomach is yelling at me so I must go remedy that as I can’t focus if I’m hungry. Thank you for reading this ramble and hope to see you again!
